Back to Work for Nancy

So here's little Benjamin Normal, completely unsupervised, going to the backyard to play with his toys. Great parenting, Nancy and Jared!
Today is Nancy's first day back to work after the births of Benjamin and Bitsy and Betsy. She's making some cookies for her co-workers in order to complete a career challenge. This is actually pretty real life for a change. It's always a good idea to bring food to your co-workers.
Nancy comes home from work, and immediately goes to take care of the twins. Here's where she discovers that she is pregnant again. Yay Nancy. She's on maternity leave again.
Jared and Nancy use up their pitiful savings in order to expand their house before the arrival of their next little miracle. They have decided to build a bigger bedroom for themselves, and turn their old bedroom into a room for some of their kids. The simoleans are really tight right now, but I'm sure they'll manage somehow...

Jared's Day Off

Jared has the day off today, and he's using it wisely. He's spending some quality time with his family, bonding with one of his daughters...
And Benjamin...
And of course, Nancy, his beautiful bride. Hey guys - are you sure you should be making out in front of impressionable children?
Yeah, well - um, isn't this exactly how you got to be a family of 5 in a little tiny house? Are you really sure you want to do this? I know that Nancy wants 5 kids, but guys. Your house is tiny. For the love of everything sane, please, nooooooooo.
Ending a wonderful family day with some reading on the couch. Life is good.

Family Life with the Normals

Jared just finished writing his first novel! This is the actual review from Sims - "Jared's latest book, The Baby Billionaire's New Captive Mistress Mommy, fills 190 pages with questionable content. It's ready to be released to stores and fans with a low morality threshold. Early readers of the book have compared it to Special Snowflake." Wow. Just Wow. But Jared will be getting regular royalty payments for the next 6 weeks, and with 3 kids now, they can really use the Simoleans.
Nancy's very busy trying to meet the needs of all three kids. She's just now trying to teach Benjamin to walk. Cute little tyke, isn't he?
Benjamin's slowly but surely getting the hang of it, and by the end of the evening, Benjamin can walk! Try keeping up with him now, Nancy. Heh, heh heh.
Nancy is really enjoying being a mom. Sure it's hectic around the house now, but the babies are so sweet. Not sure if that one is Betsy or Bitsy, but really at this age, does it even matter. Oh well, a little snuggle and time for bed for both mom and daughter.

Oh Wow!

Yay! Today is Benjamin's birthday. He is a toddler now. Watch out Nancy, he's going to need even more attention from you.
Mmmm. Cake - nom nom nom.
Well.... What have we here. Jared and Nancy are now the proud parents of twin girls, Bitsy and Betsy. And Nancy though she was busy before....
Hey Nancy! The nursery is looking a little crowded. Poor Benjamin has to go out back to have room to play. Good luck with all this.

Happy Birthday Jared - And Guess What?

Today is Jared's birthday. He is an adult now, and needs to figure out how to achieve his career goals before it is too late. No pressure though...
Mmm. Cake....
Happy Birthday Jared. Guess what. Nancy is pregnant again! They are both extremely pleased with their oh-so-exciting news.

Nancy's a Happy New Mommy.

Nancy is thrilled with her new role as mommy. Benjamin is just the cutest little guy. And so snuggly too.
Life is sweet in their cute little house with it's itsy bitsy kitchen. Who could want anything more?
Oh dear. Nancy;s not feeling very well. What's wrong Nancy?
Maybe it's the flu. Nancy has thrown up three times today. And now she gets to clean the toilet too. Yay!
Nope, not the flu. Guess what? Nancy is expecting a new little miracle.

The Big Day!

Nancy and Jared have both prepared well for their new baby. They each read both of the available pregnancy books. Jared has been especially thoughtful to Nancy, providing her with much needed back rubs as well as yummy apple pancakes. Nancy gets ready for bed, knowing that their new little one could make his or her appearance at any time. Jared gets ready for work. He hopes that the baby will wait for him, but he and Nancy really can't afford for him to miss work now.
Jared arrives home to find Nancy just now going into labor. Oh no, now what do we do? Panicked Sims are funny Sims.
Jared and Nancy make it to the hospital safely and in plenty of time to welcome Benjamin Normal into the world. Congratulations, Jared and Nancy.

We're Pregnant!

Another new day as a married couple! Jared and Nancy start the day off with some apple pancakes. Jared doesn't notice Nancy's new nightgown though. Men, really!
Pleasant chitchat for breakfast. Soon their busy day will begin.
Nancy finally works up the nerve to tell Jared their happy news. Jared is quite pleased. He wants a child too.
Nancy and Jared decide to spend some of their precious cash on a room for baby. They're both hoping for a boy, so they decorate it all in blue. They are both very excited and happy with their exciting news.

Married Life

What a wonderful start to their new life together! Nancy and Jared both have the day off today. So they spend it in domestic bliss. A little cuddling.
A few domestic chores.
Sitting on the couch together in their underwear, reading. Life is good.
Oops! Nancy woofs her cookies. Whatever is the matter, Nancy?
Nancy wakes up at 3:00 in the morning with the realization that she is pregnant! You better take good care of yourself now, Nancy.

Burning the Candle at Both Ends

Sure enough, by the time Nancy leaves work today, she is completely exhausted. Jared's work schedule is so different from hers that spending time together comes at the expense of sleep. Is this relationship doomed?
Nancy arrives home and falls into bed, where she sleeps until 9:00 pm. She wakes up, has a little dinner and calls Jared.
When Jared arrives, Nancy realizes that she is truly in love with him and that they have to make this relationship work somehow. She suggests a quicky private wedding so that they can be together forever. It may not have been fancy, but their wedding ceremony feels special to them.
Jared and Nancy are now married. With both of them working, there's no time for a real honeymoon, but they manage a celebration of their own. Nancy is very anxious to start a family with Jared. Best wishes to both of them.

Monday Means Back to Work.

Well, it's Monday again, and Nancy finds herself wasting most of the day at work. Good news is - she has received a promotion to paramedic. A little bit more money and also longer hours. Good luck with that.
Nancy arrives home to find her kitchen flooded. Oh, no the faucet is broken. Nancy doesn't have a lot of spare simoleons, so she decides to fix it herself. She gets the job done, but at the expense of her precious time and hygiene.
Now, Nancy has to deal with the water all over the place. Sims are a little weird. Nancy, don't you know that you don't use a mop on carpet?

Jared gets off work at 9:00, and Nancy invites him over for a little "quality time". Ooo Nancy, you're gonna be really tired tomorrow...

You Go Girl!

Nancy asks Jared out on a date to the diner. Fortunately, Jared does decide to change his clothes before they go in, and they have a lovely time.
Nancy is a modern kinda girl, and doesn't think that she should have to wait around for Jared to propose when obviously they are meant for each other. She pops the question and Jared agrees gleefully. They go back to Nancy's place where Jared suddenly remembers that he has to be at work.

Saturday!!

Today is Saturday, so Nancy has no work today. She spends some time this morning cleaning up the house and doing a little redecorating on her extremely limited budget. Thank goodness that changing the color of her bedroom carpet and bedspread was free. Then she calls Jared and asks him over. A little chatting, a little flirting, and then Nancy gets her first kiss! She is ecstatic and quickly asks Jared to go steady. He agrees! Nancy has a boyfriend. Yay.
The change in their relationship status calls for a little making out.
Then Nancy and Jared spend a little time outside in the fresh air playing chess until Jared announces that he has to go to work. All in all though, it's been a pretty good first date.
Since Jared had to go to work, Nancy decides to tackle a challenge that she's facing at work. Apparently she and one of her co-workers do not get along. She calls up Geoffrey Landgrabbe and invites him to meet him at the park so that they can work out their differences. Weirdly enough, in the Sim world, it's absolutely acceptable to make friends with your boss by making silly faces at him. Nancy and Geoffrey become good friends, so Nancy heads home.

A little dinner, a little housework, and time for bed.
